I painted this work while we were living in Poland, inspired by a trip to the Tatra Mountains. It was an unforgettable journey – winter, cold, with drizzling rain. The road was frozen and covered with ice, and all around was an incredible silence: fog, mountains faintly visible, and trees dissolving into the mist. The memory of that scene still moves me deeply. This work became the first in my "Fogs" series
